Changes to roaming and price adjustments at the end of the minimum-commitment period

We’re making important changes on 11 June 2017.

This page explains what the changes are and how they’ll affect you. As they’ll happen automatically, you won’t need to do anything.
We hope you’ll stay with us, but as the changes will increase your monthly bill by more than the Retail Price Index (RPI), currently 3.2%, you’re entitled to end your agreement without charge.
If you want to do this, it’s essential that you write to us within 30 days of receiving your text message notification, at:

Vodafone Global Roaming

If you’re on Pay monthly, from 11 June 2017 you can use your UK allowance of data, minutes and texts in 110 destinations worldwide – more than any other UK network.

Global Roaming gives you worry-free roaming in our 50 Roam-free destinations [PDF: 668KB] and our 60 Roam-further destinations [PDF: 810KB], So you can say goodbye to unexpected roaming charges.

Roam-free in 50 destinations
Within our 50 Roam-free destinations, including France, Italy and Spain, you can take your UK plan abroad for no extra cost.  Roam-free changes take effect on 11 June 2017.

Roam-further in 60 destinations
Within our 60 Roam-further destinations, including Australia, Canada and the USA, you can take your UK plan abroad for just £5 a day on top of your monthly plan – and you’ll pay only on the days you use your device.  This simple daily charge will replace our standard roaming charges in these destinations – so no more per-minute or per-MB charges to keep track of.

Visit our travelling abroad page for further information including roaming rates not covered by Roam-free or Roam-further.

If you have EuroTraveller, Global Roaming means there’s no need to pay the £3 a day EuroTraveller charge. You’ll get exactly the same benefit of being able to use your UK plan abroad in 50 destinations, but without the £3 daily charge. There’s no need to do anything – Global Roaming will simply replace EuroTraveller on your plan.

If you have Vodafone WorldTraveller, it’ll be replaced by Vodafone Global Roaming, but don’t worry – there’s no change in the number of destinations included, nor in how you are charged.

If you don’t currently have Vodafone WorldTraveller, Roam-further will be added to your plan automatically between 11 June 2017 and 31 August 2017.We’ll send you a text to let you know when it has been added.

In both our Roam-free and Roam-further destinations, if you exceed your allowance you’ll pay the same charges as you would if you exceeded your allowance in the UK
